The Town of Cheshire is accepting applications for the position of Facilities and Grounds.

The Full-Time benefitted Facilities and Grounds position is responsible for performing routine building and grounds tasks including supervision of personnel involved in the maintenance and operation of the town cemeteries.  Works under the general direction of the DPW Director.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, high school diploma or equivalent, working knowledge of building and ground maintenance.

Groundskeeper

The Town of Cheshire is accepting applications for the position of Groundskeeper.

The Part Time Groundskeeper performs mowing and maintenance of the Town of Cheshire cemeteries and grounds.   The position is seasonal, Monday – Friday morning hours. Ability to use landscaping equipment efficiently, lift 50 pounds.  Summer employment opportunity for those sixteen years of age or older, must obtain a work permit.
