Finance Committee

The Finance Committee is an advisory Committee consisting of seven voters of the Town appointed by the Moderator. The Committee shall consider all appropriations recommended by the Selectmen and other Town Officers and Committees for the financial year, and also the articles in the warrant calling for expenditures of money, and shall recommend amounts to be appropriated for the expenditures of the Town. The Committee shall also have the authority to transfer such sums of money as may be necessary during the year from the Reserve Fund to other accounts in which there is a shortage of funds to properly carry out the work of the year.
